Contains a response to the Saints At War Questionnaire describing Stephensen's living conditions throughout the war, areas traveled in the Pacific theater of operation, and contact he had with his family and the LDS Church throughout the war. Contains various documents, including his certificate of service, discharge papers, engineering license, and alien certification from Australia. Also included is the cover of a book written documenting the history of the Merchant Marine's WWII service. Photographs show Stephensen in full military dress, with his two brothers (who also served in the war), and with ships that he served on.
